Sanjay Dutt gives no dates...

It's been a year since it went on floors and Arshad Warsi-Vivek Oberoi starrer Zilla Ghaziabad is yet to be completed. Reason being, the makers are still waiting for Dutt's (he plays a cop in this gang-war flick) dates to wrap the shoot. Sources associated with the project tell us that the actor, who was to shoot the film after his return from Patiala in April end, is yet to give any dates in over a month since then. Insiders blame the star's erstwhile business manager Dharam Uberoi for the mismanagement of Dutt's dates. It is also learnt that Dutt's role in ZG has been increased over the past few months. The remaining three-day shoot has now become a two-week spell. Our informer says, "Dharam had promised to give the dates in May. But he prioritised Department (he was the film's line producer) and let Zilla Ghaziabad suffer. Though Dharam is no longer associated with Sanjay, that doesn't change the status of his dates." The date problem has nothing to do with Dutt's role being increased. "When Sanjay heard that new scenes had been added for his character, he was thrilled. It makes his character stronger and more assertive," says our source, adding that of the 15 days required from the actor, six will be used to film action scenes. Producer Vinod Bachchan, who was initially planning a July release, is not rushing to announce a fresh date until the pending shoot is completed. Informs our source, "The decision on the release date will be made only after Sanjay completes the remaining shoot." The actor is currently in Rajasthan, where he's filming for Soham's tentatively titled Sher. However, a source close to the actor maintained, "The script is not yet complete." Bachchan was unavailable for comment.
